The course covers BIM standards, model management, clash detection coordination, and collaboration tools such as Autodesk Navisworks and BIM 360.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to BIM and Coordination Role: BIM fundamentals and benefits, BIM standards and protocols (ISO 19650 etc.), Roles and responsibilities of a BIM Coordinator, Overview of BIM software ecosystem, Understanding project lifecycle in BIM, Collaboration and communication in BIM teams.

Module 2: BIM Software and Tools: Introduction to common BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360), Model federation and linking techniques, Clash detection and coordination workflows, Use of cloud-based collaboration platforms, Version control and file management, Visualization and walkthrough tools.

Module 3: Model Management and Quality Control: Model setup and template creation, Managing linked models and worksets, Quality assurance processes and model validation, Standards compliance and auditing, Naming conventions and data organization, Coordinating model updates and revisions.

Module 4: Clash Detection and Resolution: Types of clashes (hard, soft, workflow), Setting up clash detection tests, Analyzing and prioritizing clashes, Assigning clash issues and tracking resolutions, Reporting clash results to project teams, Integrating clash detection with project schedules.

Module 5: Collaboration and Communication: Facilitating multidisciplinary coordination meetings, Issue tracking and resolution methods, Documentation and reporting best practices, Using BIM collaboration platforms (BIM 360, Common Data Environment), Conflict management and negotiation skills, Training and supporting project teams.

Module 6: Project Delivery and BIM Implementation: Developing BIM Execution Plans (BEP), Implementing BIM workflows on projects, Monitoring BIM compliance and progress, Supporting project handover and asset management, Lessons learned and continuous improvement, Preparing BIM deliverables and final documentation.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
