Duration: One Month.

Eligibility: 10+2 Grade (Higher Secondary) or Equivalent is required.

Objective: The Certified Fashion Photographer course aims to equip students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills necessary to excel in the dynamic field of fashion photography. The course covers essential aspects such as understanding fashion trends, mastering lighting techniques, working with models, styling, makeup coordination, and post-production editing. It also focuses on developing a strong creative vision, technical proficiency with professional cameras and equipment, and the ability to manage fashion shoots from concept to final output. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Fashion Photography: History of Fashion Photography, Key Fashion Photographers and Their Styles, Understanding Fashion Industry Trends, Types of Fashion Photography, Role of a Fashion Photographer, Ethical Considerations in Fashion Photography.

Module 2: Camera and Equipment Essentials: Choosing the Right Camera and Lenses for Fashion, Understanding Camera Settings (ISO, Aperture, Shutter Speed), Lighting Equipment and Techniques, Using Reflectors and Diffusers, Essential Accessories (Tripods, Remotes, Memory Cards), Maintaining and Caring for Equipment.

Module 3: Lighting Techniques in Fashion Photography: Natural Light vs. Artificial Light, Studio Lighting Setup, Using Softboxes and Beauty Dishes, High Key and Low Key Lighting, Creating Mood with Light, Troubleshooting Common Lighting Problems.

Module 4: Styling and Composition: Basics of Fashion Styling, Collaborating with Stylists and Makeup Artists, Posing Techniques for Models, Composition and Framing, Color Theory and Background Selection, Creating Storytelling through Fashion Images.

Module 5: Photo Shoot Planning and Execution: Pre-Shoot Preparation and Mood Boards, Location Scouting and Set Design, Working with Models and Crew, Directing During the Shoot, Managing Time and Workflow, Safety and Legal Aspects During Shoot.

Module 6: Post-Production and Portfolio Development: Basics of Photo Editing Software (Lightroom, Photoshop), Retouching Fashion Images, Color Correction and Enhancements, Creating a Cohesive Portfolio, Marketing Yourself as a Fashion Photographer, Building a Professional Network and Client Relations.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
