Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Foundations of Health Information Management: Introduction to health information management (HIM), Evolution and functions of HIM in healthcare, Health data structure, content, and standards, Types of health records (paper, hybrid, electronic), Classification systems and clinical vocabularies, Legal and regulatory requirements in HIM.

Module 2: Healthcare Data Management and Analytics: Health data collection and reporting methods, Data quality, integrity, and validation techniques, Healthcare data analysis and interpretation, Clinical documentation improvement (CDI), Health information exchange (HIE) and interoperability, Introduction to data analytics tools and dashboards.

Module 3: Coding and Classification Systems: Overview of ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT coding systems, Clinical classification and coding accuracy, Application of coding guidelines and conventions, Coding compliance and audit practices, Reimbursement methodologies and DRG/APC systems, Case studies in coding and abstracting.

Module 4: Health Information Technology and Systems: Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and functions, Health IT infrastructure and data storage, Privacy and security of health information, Health informatics and emerging technologies, System implementation and maintenance, Telehealth and mobile health technologies.

Module 5: Legal, Ethical, and Regulatory Issues in HIM: Confidentiality, privacy, and HIPAA compliance, Legal aspects of health records and documentation, Release of information and patient rights, Risk management and compliance programs, Ethical issues and decision-making in HIM, Accreditation standards and healthcare laws.

Module 6: HIM Leadership, Management, and Career Development: HIM department organization and staffing, Project and change management in HIM, Performance improvement and quality assurance, Budgeting and resource management, Professional development and lifelong learning, Resume building, interview skills, and career pathways in HIM.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
