Objective: The Certified Business Intelligence (BI) Developer course is designed to equip professionals with the skills to design, develop, and implement BI solutions that transform raw data into actionable insights. The course covers data modeling, ETL processes, data warehousing, dashboard development, and reporting using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView. Participants learn to analyze business data, create interactive visualizations, and provide decision-makers with accurate, timely, and meaningful information.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1 – BI Fundamentals & Data Acquisition: Introduction to business intelligence concepts and ecosystem, Data sources and systems (OLTP, OLAP, operational vs analytical), Data extraction fundamentals (connectors, APIs, flat files, databases), Understanding data quality, cleansing and profiling, Introduction to ETL/ELT processes and tools, Overview of BI architecture and platforms

Module 2 – Data Warehousing & Modelling: Data warehouse concepts: star/snowflake schema, fact & dimension tables, Data warehouse architecture (staging, integration, access layers), Dimensional modelling and data mart design, Data integration and transformation (ETL/ELT) best practices, Performance considerations: indexing, partitioning, scalability

Module 3 – BI Tools, Reporting & Dashboards: Overview of BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.), Designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports, Data modelling within BI tools (measures, calculated fields, hierarchies), Self‑service BI vs enterprise BI considerations, Visualization best practices, Story‑telling with data and user‑centric report design

Module 4 – Advanced Analytics & Data Visualisation: Exploratory data analysis for BI, Advanced visualisation techniques (heat maps, scatter plots, time‑series, geo‑visualisations), Introduction to predictive analytics and what it means for BI, Integrating analytics into dashboards (trend‑analysis, forecasting, KPI alerting), Handling large datasets and performance optimisation in visualisation, Mobile BI and real‑time/streaming dashboards

Module 5 – BI Governance, Security & Deployment: Data governance frameworks: metadata, lineage, cataloguing, master data, Role‑based access control, authentication/authorization in BI systems, Data security, privacy and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.), Deployment and change‑management of BI solutions, Monitoring, logging and usage analytics of BI applications, Collaboration and sharing in BI: portals, self‑service, embedding

Module 6 – Modern BI Architecture, Big Data & Emerging Trends: Cloud‑based BI and analytics platforms, Integrating big data sources (Hadoop, data lakes) with BI systems, Real‑time BI/streaming analytics and architectures, Data mesh, lakehouse and modern data‑platform concepts, AI/ML augmentation in BI and augmented analytics, Future trends in BI: embedded analytics, augmented reality, conversational BI

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
