Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent is required.

Objective: The Certified Cloud Migration Specialist course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills to plan, execute, and manage the migration of applications, data, and workloads to cloud environments. The course covers cloud assessment and readiness, migration strategies, architecture design, risk management, cost optimization, security, and post-migration monitoring.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1 – Cloud Migration Strategy & Business Case: Business drivers and desired outcomes of cloud migration, Cloud migration models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, hybrid, multi‑cloud), Migration frameworks and phases (assess, mobilize, migrate, optimize), The “6 R” migration strategies (Rehost, Refactor, Replatform, Repurchase, Retire, Retain), Building a cloud business case and ROI/TCO analysis, Stakeholder engagement, change management and governance

Module 2 – Assessment & Readiness for Migration: Current state assessment: inventory, dependencies, performance, cost drivers, Application portfolio discovery and mapping, Cloud readiness assessment: organisation, skills, processes, security, compliance, Risk identification and mitigation planning (technical, operational, business), Landing zone and target cloud foundation design (governance, networking, identity), Migration tooling selection and pilot planning

Module 3 – Planning & Designing the Migration: Workload prioritization and migration wave planning, Network, security, identity and connectivity architecture (on‑prem to cloud, hybrid), Landing zone implementation and resource grouping (accounts/projects, subscription structure), Data migration design (storage, databases, streaming, offline/online), Application migration patterns (rehost, refactor, containerise, serverless), Cut‑over strategy, rollback planning, and operational readiness

Module 4 – Migration Execution & Modernisation: Server/VM migration: methods, tools and execution, Database and data migration: services, tools, validation, consistency, Application migration and modernisation: containers, microservices, SaaS migration, Hybrid and multi‑cloud migration approaches, Migration automation, orchestration and monitoring, Post‑migration validation, testing (functional, performance, security) and hand‑over

Module 5 – Post‑Migration Optimisation, Operations & Cost Management: Efficient operations in cloud: monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability, Cost optimisation and billing management (rightsizing, reserved instances, tagging, budgets), Security, compliance & governance in the cloud environment, Performance tuning and resource optimisation, Cloud service lifecycle management (updates, retirement, innovation), Continuous improvement and innovation: modernising workloads, introducing cloud‑native services

Module 6 – Risk, Compliance & Emerging Trends in Cloud Migration: Migration risk management: downtime, data loss, vendor lock‑in, security breaches, Change management and organisational readiness (people, process, technology), Compliance, data privacy and regulatory mandates in cloud contexts (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.), Disaster recovery, business continuity and resilience in the cloud, Emerging technologies and strategies: edge computing, serverless, multi‑cloud interoperability, AI/ML in cloud operations, Future migration considerations and hybrid‑cloud evolution

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
