Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Cybersecurity in the Hospitality Industry: Understanding the importance of cybersecurity in hospitality operations, Common cyber threats in hotels, resorts, and travel agencies, Overview of cybersecurity principles: confidentiality, integrity, availability, Regulatory compliance: GDPR, PCI DSS, local data protection laws, Impact of data breaches on guest trust and brand reputation, Role and responsibilities of a cybersecurity analyst in hospitality.

Module 2: Hospitality-Specific IT Infrastructure and Threat Landscape: Typical IT systems in hospitality: PMS, POS, CRS, Wi-Fi networks, Identifying vulnerabilities in guest-facing and internal systems, Risks from third-party vendors, OTAs, and online booking engines, Insider threats and risks from temporary/seasonal staff, Phishing, ransomware, and credential theft attacks in hospitality, Real-world cyber incidents and case studies in the hotel industry.

Module 3: Data Protection and Secure Guest Information Handling: Securing guest data: personal info, payment details, preferences, Data classification and encryption techniques for hospitality data, Secure handling of online transactions and mobile payments, Role-based access control and identity verification processes, Managing consent and data collection in line with legal requirements, Preventing data leakage through endpoint and mobile device protection.

Module 4: Network and Endpoint Security in Hospitality Environments: Implementing secure Wi-Fi access for guests and staff, Network segmentation between guest and operational systems, Firewall, IDS/IPS, and VPN deployment for remote hotel access, Protecting IoT devices like smart locks, thermostats, and cameras, Endpoint protection: anti-malware, patching, asset management, Securing POS terminals and back-office systems against tampering.

Module 5: Incident Response, Monitoring, and Risk Management: Developing incident response plans specific to hospitality settings, Cybersecurity risk assessment and vulnerability scanning, Monitoring tools: SIEM, log analysis, and behavioral detection, Steps to isolate, contain, and report a security incident, Coordination with law enforcement and legal response protocols, Post-incident analysis, guest notification, and service restoration.

Module 6: Training, Compliance, and Future Trends in Hospitality Cybersecurity: Conducting cybersecurity awareness training for hospitality staff, Auditing cybersecurity practices across properties and vendors, Maintaining compliance with international and regional data laws, Trends: biometric security, AI threat detection, zero-trust architecture, Building a cybersecurity culture in hospitality operations, Career development, certifications, and tools for cybersecurity analysts in the hospitality sector.
