Objective: The Certified DevSecOps Practitioner course is designed to train professionals in integrating security practices seamlessly into the DevOps lifecycle. It covers how to embed automated security testing, continuous monitoring, and compliance checks within CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure software delivery. The course teaches principles of “shift-left” security, threat modeling, secure coding practices, vulnerability management, and infrastructure as code (IaC) security. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to DevSecOps: DevSecOps principles and culture, Differences between DevOps and DevSecOps, Benefits of integrating security into DevOps, Overview of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Security challenges in traditional DevOps, Key components of DevSecOps pipeline.

Module 2: Secure Coding and Application Security: Secure coding standards and best practices, Common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10), Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), Software composition analysis (SCA), Threat modeling and risk assessment.

Module 3: Infrastructure as Code and Security Automation: Introduction to Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Securing IaC templates and scripts, Automated security testing in CI/CD pipelines, Configuration management tools security (Ansible, Chef, Puppet), Secrets management and vaults, Policy as Code and compliance automation.

Module 4: Container Security and Orchestration: Container basics and security challenges, Image scanning and vulnerability management, Runtime security and access control, Kubernetes security best practices, Network policies and service mesh security, Container orchestration monitoring and logging.

Module 5: Continuous Security Monitoring and Incident Response: Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Automated alerting and incident response, Log management and analysis, Threat intelligence integration, Penetration testing in DevSecOps, Incident management workflows and tools.

Module 6: Compliance, Governance and DevSecOps Adoption: Regulatory frameworks and standards (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS), Compliance as Code, Governance models for DevSecOps, Metrics and KPIs for security effectiveness, Building a security-first culture, Case studies and best practices for adoption.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
