Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Disaster Response Coordination: Overview of disaster types and classifications, Roles and responsibilities of a disaster response coordinator, Disaster management cycle (mitigation, preparedness, response, recovery), Legal and ethical considerations in disaster response, Coordination frameworks and agencies involved, Building a disaster-resilient organizational culture.

Module 2: Disaster Risk Assessment and Preparedness: Hazard identification and vulnerability assessment, Risk analysis methodologies, Developing disaster preparedness plans, Early warning systems and communication protocols, Community engagement and awareness programs, Resource inventory and capacity assessment.

Module 3: Incident Command System and Operational Coordination: Principles of the Incident Command System (ICS), Roles and structure within ICS, Coordination of multi-agency response efforts, Resource management and logistics, Communication strategies during emergencies, Documentation and reporting during incidents.

Module 4: Emergency Response and Crisis Management: Activation and mobilization of response teams, Search and rescue operations, Medical and casualty management, Shelter and evacuation planning, Security and crowd control measures, Managing public information and media relations.

Module 5: Recovery and Rehabilitation Planning: Damage assessment and impact analysis, Short-term and long-term recovery strategies, Coordination with relief agencies and stakeholders, Psychosocial support and community resilience, Reconstruction and infrastructure rehabilitation, Monitoring and evaluation of recovery efforts.

Module 6: Training, Exercises, and Continuous Improvement: Designing disaster response training programs, Conducting drills and simulation exercises, Evaluating response effectiveness and performance, Updating response plans based on lessons learned, Reporting and documentation practices, Fostering continuous improvement and resilience building.
