Objective: The Certified EdTech Application Developer course is designed to equip professionals with the skills to design, develop, and deploy educational technology applications that enhance teaching and learning experiences. The course covers instructional design principles, user interface and user experience (UI/UX) design, coding and development using modern programming languages and frameworks, integration of multimedia and interactive content, and deployment on web and mobile platforms.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1 – Foundations of EdTech Application Development: Introduction to educational technology and learning sciences, Roles of an EdTech application developer, Understanding learner personas and pedagogy, Digital learning ecosystems: LMS, LXP, MOOCs, Accessibility, inclusion & universal design for learning, Ethics, data‑privacy & regulatory frameworks in education

Module 2 – Front‑End Development for EdTech Applications: HTML5, CSS3 and responsive design for learner‑facing interfaces, JavaScript fundamentals and modern frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) for interactive learning apps, UI/UX design principles in education (wireframes, prototyping, usability testing), Designing for engagement: gamification, micro‑learning, adaptive components, Accessibility implementation (screen‑readers, keyboard nav, WCAG), Performance optimisation for web and mobile educational applications

Module 3 – Back‑End & Data Architecture for EdTech: Server‑side programming (Node.js, Python/Django, Ruby on Rails) and RESTful APIs for EdTech systems, Database design: relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) & NoSQL (MongoDB, Firebase) for learning data, Integration with learning management systems (LMS) and content management systems (CMS), Data modelling for learner analytics, progress tracking & dashboards, Authentication, authorization & user‑management in educational applications (SaaS, multi‑tenant), Scaling, security and reliability in back‑end architecture

Module 4 – Content Development, Interactivity & Assessment: Authoring interactive learning content (SCORM, xAPI, HTML5 modules), Embedding multimedia (video, audio, simulations) and interactive elements (drag/drop, branching scenarios), Creating assessment engines: quizzes, assignments, peer‑review, feedback modules, Adaptive learning algorithms: branching, recommendation engines, Analytics for evaluation of learning outcomes and content effectiveness, Managing versioning, localisation and accessibility of content

Module 5 – Mobile, Hybrid & Cloud‑Based EdTech Solutions: Native vs hybrid mobile development (React Native, Flutter, Ionic) for educational apps, Offline‑capable learning experiences, push notifications, syncing, cloud infrastructure for EdTech: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Microservices and serverless functions for scale, Integration with APIs: video streaming, chatbots, virtual labs, Monitoring, logging, cost‑optimisation and DevOps practices for continuous delivery of EdTech apps

Module 6 – Emerging Technologies, Analytics & Implementation Strategy: Learning analytics and big data in education: dashboards, predictive modelling, real‑time insights, AI/ML in EdTech: chatbots, recommendation systems, adaptive tutoring, Virtual/augmented reality, immersive learning environments, Implementation strategy: business models for EdTech, monetisation, legal/regulatory compliance, Continuous improvement, usability testing, deployment, maintenance and governance of live EdTech applications
