Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Hotel Financial Management: Role and responsibilities of a Hotel Finance Officer, Overview of financial operations in the hospitality industry, Understanding the hotel chart of accounts and revenue streams, Coordination with front office, F&B, and other departments, Financial policies and internal controls in hotels, Importance of financial accuracy and compliance.

Module 2: Budgeting and Forecasting: Preparing annual operating and capital budgets, Revenue forecasting techniques and seasonal trends, Departmental budgeting and variance analysis, Monitoring actual vs. budgeted performance, Cost estimation and control mechanisms, Collaborating with department heads for financial planning.

Module 3: Hotel Accounting and Bookkeeping: Recording daily financial transactions and journal entries, Managing receivables, payables, and general ledger, Night audit reports and reconciliation procedures, Posting and reviewing cash, credit, and POS transactions, Accounting for room sales, banquet, and other revenues, Month-end and year-end closing activities.

Module 4: Payroll, Taxation, and Compliance: Processing payroll and statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS), Managing employee benefits and leave accounting, Filing GST, income tax, and other hotel-related taxes, Ensuring compliance with labor and financial laws, Coordinating with auditors and tax consultants, Maintaining accurate payroll records and reports.

Module 5: Financial Reporting and Performance Analysis: Preparing financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow), Department-wise revenue and cost analysis, Calculating operating ratios (ADR, RevPAR, GOP, OCC%), Internal reporting to management and stakeholders, Identifying financial trends and opportunities, Supporting strategic decision-making with financial insights.

Module 6: Cash Flow Management, Audit, and Risk Control: Daily cash management and bank reconciliation, Monitoring credit limits, advance deposits, and collections, Internal audits and fraud prevention in hospitality finance, Risk assessment and loss prevention strategies, Managing insurance, contracts, and financial records, Supporting hotel expansion and investment planning.
