Duration: One Month.

Eligibility: 10th Grade (High School) or Equivalent is required.

Objective: The Certified Pavement Technologist course is designed to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills related to the design, construction, evaluation, and maintenance of pavement systems. The course covers topics such as pavement materials (asphalt, concrete), structural design principles, pavement performance modeling, distress identification, rehabilitation techniques, and lifecycle cost analysis. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Pavement Technology: Overview of Pavement Types and Functions, History and Development of Pavement Engineering, Pavement Materials and Their Properties, Pavement Performance and Service Life, Environmental Impact on Pavements, Introduction to Pavement Design Concepts.

Module 2: Materials for Pavement Construction: Properties of Aggregates, Asphalt Binders and Mixes, Concrete Materials and Admixtures, Soil Stabilization Techniques, Material Testing and Quality Control, Recycling and Sustainable Materials in Pavement Construction.

Module 3: Pavement Design Principles: Flexible Pavement Design Methods, Rigid Pavement Design Concepts, Mechanistic-Empirical Design Approaches, Load and Traffic Analysis, Subgrade Evaluation and Improvement, Design Software and Tools.

Module 4: Pavement Construction and Maintenance: Construction Methods for Flexible and Rigid Pavements, Quality Assurance and Control During Construction, Pavement Maintenance Strategies, Rehabilitation and Repair Techniques, Safety and Environmental Considerations, Use of Equipment and Technology in Construction.

Module 5: Pavement Evaluation and Performance: Pavement Condition Assessment Techniques, Non-Destructive Testing Methods, Distress Identification and Classification, Structural Evaluation, Performance Prediction Models, Pavement Management Systems.

Module 6: Advanced Topics and Case Studies: Innovations in Pavement Materials and Technology, Sustainable Pavement Practices, Pavement Management in Different Climates, Life Cycle Cost Analysis, Case Studies of Major Pavement Projects, Problem Solving and Field Applications.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
