Eligibility: 10+2 Grade (Higher Secondary) or Equivalent is required.

Objective: The Certified Senior Housekeeping Supervisor course is designed to develop leadership and supervisory skills for managing housekeeping operations in hotels, resorts, hospitals, and other facilities. The course covers team supervision, duty delegation, inspection procedures, performance evaluation, inventory and linen management, and adherence to SOPs and hygiene standards.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Advanced Housekeeping Operations: Overview of housekeeping divisions and structures, Supervising daily cleaning operations and schedules, Coordination with front office and maintenance departments, Handling VIP rooms, special requests, and turn-down service, Managing deep cleaning and preventive maintenance tasks, Monitoring productivity and operational efficiency.

Module 2: Staff Management and Leadership: Supervising room attendants, public area staff, and linen room attendants, Training, mentoring, and evaluating housekeeping staff, Preparing duty rosters and managing shift rotations, Conflict resolution and team motivation techniques, Conducting briefing and debriefing sessions, Ensuring staff grooming, discipline, and professionalism.

Module 3: Inspection, Quality Control, and Standards Compliance: Performing room and public area inspections, Developing inspection checklists and SOPs, Implementing quality assurance standards and brand guidelines, Identifying service gaps and initiating corrective actions, Handling guest complaints and service recovery, Preparing reports on quality audits and improvements.

Module 4: Inventory and Linen Management: Managing linen and cleaning supply inventory, Issuing and tracking linen and guest supplies, Coordinating with laundry for timely linen flow, Ensuring proper storage and stock rotation, Identifying and reporting shortages or damages, Monitoring usage to reduce waste and pilferage.

Module 5: Safety, Hygiene, and Environmental Practices: Implementing workplace safety and hygiene protocols, Ensuring compliance with sanitation and disinfection standards, Training staff on hazardous material handling and PPE use, Managing waste disposal and eco-friendly housekeeping practices, Responding to emergencies and accidents, Conducting regular safety audits and mock drills.

Module 6: Administration, Documentation, and Guest Service Coordination: Preparing and maintaining housekeeping reports and logs, Room status updates and coordination with front office, Managing lost and found procedures, Assisting in budget preparation and cost control, Coordinating special events and guest requests, Supporting department head in planning and execution of policies.
