Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).
Objective: The Certified Postnatal Yoga Instructor course is designed to train individuals to safely and effectively guide new mothers through yoga and meditation practices that support postpartum recovery. The course focuses on restoring core strength, improving flexibility, enhancing pelvic floor function, reducing stress, promoting mental well-being, and supporting emotional balance after childbirth.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Foundations of Postnatal Yoga: Overview of postnatal yoga principles, Benefits of yoga after childbirth, Understanding postnatal body changes, Mental and emotional well-being of new mothers, Ethical considerations and safety, Introduction to holistic postpartum wellness
Module 2: Anatomy & Physiology for Postnatal Women: Musculoskeletal recovery after childbirth, Core and pelvic floor anatomy, Hormonal changes and implications, Cardiovascular and respiratory considerations, Common postnatal conditions (diastasis recti, incontinence), Safe movement patterns and posture alignment
Module 3: Yoga Asanas & Movement for Recovery: Gentle stretching and strengthening exercises, Core and pelvic floor rehabilitation postnatal, Restorative yoga postures, Adaptations for different stages of recovery, Breath awareness and coordination, Functional movements for daily activities
Module 4: Pranayama, Meditation & Emotional Wellness: Breath control for relaxation and energy, Guided meditation for stress reduction, Mindfulness practices for emotional balance, Techniques for improving sleep and focus, Reducing anxiety and postpartum blues, Building mental resilience
Module 5: Teaching Methodology & Class Management: Structuring postnatal yoga sessions, Effective cueing and demonstrations, Engaging mothers with varying fitness levels, Group management and safety protocols, Monitoring progress and providing individual modifications, Communication and support strategies
Module 6: Program Development & Professional Growth: Designing postnatal yoga programs, Integrating wellness education and lifestyle guidance, Tracking outcomes and program effectiveness, Marketing and promoting postnatal classes, Networking and professional development opportunities, Long-term career growth in postnatal yoga instruction
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
- Duration- 60 minutes.
- Number of Questions- 30.
- Number of Questions from each module: 5.
- Language: English.
- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
