Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: This course is designed to equip hospitality professionals with the skills and knowledge required to plan, organize, and execute successful banquets and events. Participants will learn event planning, budgeting, vendor management, logistics, staffing, customer service, risk management, and marketing strategies tailored to events in hotels, resorts, and other hospitality settings.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 3: Banquet Operations and Food & Beverage Management: Banquet service standards and protocols, Menu planning and catering management, Staffing and team coordination for events, Table setup, decor, and presentation, Beverage management and bar operations, Quality control and service monitoring

Module 4: Logistics, Technology & Resource Management: Event logistics and operational planning, Equipment and resource allocation, Audio-visual and technical requirements, Vendor and supplier coordination, Transportation and accommodation planning, Use of event management software and technology tools

Module 5: Marketing, Sales & Client Relations for Events: Event marketing strategies and promotion, Sales techniques and proposal development, Client relationship management and communication, Contract negotiation and agreement management, Sponsorship and partnership coordination, Post-event follow-up and feedback collection

Module 6: Risk Management, Leadership & Event Evaluation: Risk assessment and contingency planning, Health, safety, and legal compliance in events, Leadership and team management during events, Crisis management and problem-solving strategies, Event performance evaluation and reporting, Continuous improvement and innovation in banquet and event management

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
