Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Hospital Housekeeping: Overview of hospital housekeeping operations, Roles and responsibilities of a housekeeping supervisor, Importance of hygiene and infection control, Legal and regulatory framework in hospital sanitation, Ethical and professional standards, Understanding hospital layout and departments

Module 2: Cleaning Protocols and Techniques: Types of cleaning methods and equipment, Cleaning schedules and task allocation, Surface disinfection and sterilization procedures, Handling biohazardous and infectious waste, Laundry and linen management, Floor, carpet, and high-touch area maintenance

Module 3: Infection Control and Safety Practices: Hospital-acquired infections (HAIs) and prevention, Personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, Hand hygiene and sanitization practices, Safe handling of cleaning chemicals, Waste segregation and disposal protocols, Emergency and spill management

Module 4: Staff Management and Training: Recruitment, training, and supervision of housekeeping staff, Performance monitoring and appraisal, Task scheduling and workflow management, Team building and motivation, Conflict resolution and communication skills, Maintaining staff safety and well-being

Module 5: Inventory and Resource Management: Procurement and storage of cleaning supplies and equipment, Stock control and inventory management, Equipment maintenance and lifecycle management, Cost control and budgeting, Record keeping and reporting, Vendor coordination and supply chain management

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
