Objective: The Certified Fire & Safety Global Standards Manager course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills to implement, manage, and maintain fire safety programs that comply with international standards and best practices. The course covers global fire safety regulations, codes, and standards, risk assessment, emergency preparedness, and compliance management.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Fire Science & Fundamentals: Basics of fire chemistry and combustion process, Fire triangle and fire behavior dynamics, Classification of fire types (class A, B, C, D etc.), Fire spread and flame propagation mechanisms, Heat transfer, smoke and toxic gases behavior, Legal/regulatory basics for fire safety and compliance

Module 2: Fire Risk Assessment & Hazard Identification: Identification of common fire hazards (electrical, chemical, storage, housekeeping etc.), Hazard identification techniques (visual inspection, checklists, HIRA), Fire load calculation and risk analysis, Categorization of occupancy and hazard zones, Risk evaluation and prioritization, Documentation and audit of fire hazards

Module 3: Fire Prevention & Protection Systems: Fire detection systems — alarms, smoke detectors, heat detectors, sprinkler systems, fixed and portable fire suppression systems (sprinklers, hydrants, extinguishers, gas‑based systems), Fire‑resistant construction, compartmentation and passive fire protection, Safe storage and handling of flammable materials, Signage, emergency lighting and exit route design, Maintenance and inspection protocols for protection systems

Module 4: Emergency Planning, Response & Evacuation: Development of emergency response and fire safety plan, Evacuation route planning and exit strategies, Fire drills — planning, execution and review, Roles and responsibilities during emergencies (fire wardens, safety officers, staff), Communication and alarm procedures in crisis, Coordination with local fire services and first responders

Module 5: Fire Fighting Equipment & Rescue Operations: Types of fire extinguishers and correct use (e.g. PASS technique), Handling of hoses, hydrants, pumps, nozzles during fire suppression, Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and breathing apparatus, Rescue operations including search & rescue, evacuation of vulnerable persons, First aid basics — burns, smoke inhalation, CPR, Emergency casualty handling and stabilization, Inspection and maintenance of firefighting equipment

Module 6: Safety Management, Compliance & Continuous Improvement: Understanding international and national fire safety standards / codes / regulations, Legal responsibilities and compliance requirements in buildings and industries, Fire safety audits and inspections, Documentation — logbooks, safety records, incident reports, Safety training and awareness programs for staff, Developing a fire safety culture and continuous improvement in fire safety practices

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
