Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Logistics Support Staff (Import/Export) course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills to support import and export operations within logistics and supply chain environments. Participants learn about shipping documentation, customs procedures, cargo handling, compliance requirements, trade regulations, and coordination with carriers and freight forwarders.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Import/Export Logistics: Overview of international logistics operations, Role and responsibilities of logistics support staff, Key performance indicators (KPIs) in import/export operations, Regulatory and compliance frameworks (customs, trade laws), Types of shipments and cargo, Importance of accuracy and timely processing,

Module 2: Documentation & Regulatory Compliance: Import/export documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, airway bill), Understanding Incoterms and their application, Customs clearance procedures, Handling permits and licenses, Documentation verification and filing, Record-keeping and audit readiness,

Module 3: Cargo Handling & Coordination: Cargo receiving, inspection, and acceptance procedures, Proper packaging and labeling requirements, Coordination with freight forwarders, carriers, and warehouse teams, Handling fragile, hazardous, and sensitive cargo, Consolidation and deconsolidation of shipments, Monitoring cargo movement and status updates,

Module 4: Transportation & Freight Management: Transportation modes (air, sea, road, rail), Freight rate calculation and cost control, Route planning and scheduling basics, Coordination with carriers and shipping lines, Shipment tracking and monitoring, Contingency planning for delays or disruptions,

Module 5: Technology & Digital Tools: Use of freight management systems (FMS) and ERP software, Digital documentation and e-freight tools, Real-time shipment tracking platforms, Data entry, reporting, and analytics, Automation in logistics support processes, Emerging technologies in import/export operations,

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
