Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Inventory Control Clerk (Logistics) course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to manage and maintain accurate inventory records within a logistics or warehouse environment. Participants learn inventory management principles, stock monitoring techniques, record-keeping, cycle counting, and reconciliation processes. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 2: Inventory Control Techniques: Stock classification methods (ABC, VED, FSN), Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and reorder point, Just-in-Time (JIT) inventory, Safety stock calculation, Cycle counting and periodic audits, Inventory turnover and performance metrics,

Module 3: Warehouse Operations for Inventory Control: Warehouse layout and storage optimization, Material handling equipment and procedures, Receiving and inspection of goods, Put-away and storage practices, Picking and dispatch operations, Maintaining warehouse safety and security,

Module 4: Inventory Documentation and Record-Keeping: Preparing and maintaining inventory records, Stock cards and bin cards, Use of inventory software and digital tools, Documentation for audits and compliance, Handling discrepancies and adjustments, Reporting inventory status to management,

Module 5: Technology in Inventory Management: Inventory Management Systems (IMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Barcode and RFID technology, Real-time tracking of inventory, Data analytics for inventory decisions, Automation in inventory processes, Emerging technology trends in inventory management,

Module 6: Quality and Compliance in Inventory Control: Ensuring inventory accuracy and integrity, Conducting inventory audits, Compliance with organizational and regulatory standards, Handling damaged or expired goods, Implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement, Best practices for inventory control efficiency,

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
