Objective: The Certified Critical Thinking Skills Coach course is designed to prepare educators, trainers, and academic leaders to effectively foster and coach critical thinking skills across educational settings. The course covers core elements of critical thinking such as reasoning, analysis, evaluation, inference, reflection, and problem-solving. It also includes instructional strategies, questioning techniques, cognitive development theories, and assessment tools.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Foundations of Critical Thinking: Definition and components of critical thinking, Importance of critical thinking in education and life, Historical and philosophical roots, Cognitive processes involved in reasoning and judgment, Common barriers to critical thinking, Key dispositions and attitudes of critical thinkers.

Module 2: Teaching and Coaching Critical Thinking: Roles and responsibilities of a critical thinking coach, Strategies to cultivate inquiry and curiosity, Socratic questioning and dialogic teaching, Encouraging evidence-based reasoning, Differentiating instruction for diverse learners, Creating a safe space for intellectual risk-taking.

Module 3: Thinking Tools and Frameworks: Bloom’s Taxonomy and higher-order thinking, Paul-Elder Critical Thinking Framework, De Bono’s Six Thinking Hats, SWOT and cause-effect analysis, Graphic organizers and thinking routines, Using mind mapping and visual tools.

Module 4: Critical Thinking in Practice: Applying critical thinking to real-world problems, Integrating critical thinking across subjects, Project-based and problem-based learning strategies, Role of debate, case studies, and simulations, Promoting metacognition and self-reflection, Assessing the quality of arguments and solutions.

Module 5: Assessing Critical Thinking Skills: Designing assessments for critical thinking, Rubrics and performance-based assessment tools, Observational checklists and portfolios, Encouraging peer and self-assessment, Using feedback to enhance thinking skills, Aligning assessment with learning outcomes.

Module 6: Sustaining a Culture of Critical Thinking: Building a critical thinking culture in classrooms and organizations, Coaching educators and teams in critical thinking practices, Integrating critical thinking in institutional policies, Addressing resistance and misconceptions, Professional development for continuous growth, Trends and innovations in critical thinking education.

• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
