Objective: The Certified Inquiry-Based Learning Specialist course is designed to equip educators with the knowledge and skills to effectively implement inquiry-based learning (IBL) approaches that promote student curiosity, critical thinking, and deeper understanding. The course covers the foundations of inquiry pedagogy, designing inquiry-driven lessons, facilitating student-led investigations, assessment strategies, and integrating technology to support inquiry.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Foundations of Inquiry-Based Learning: Definition and principles of inquiry-based learning, Historical development and educational theories, Types of inquiry approaches, Benefits and challenges of inquiry learning, Role of the teacher and learner in inquiry, Aligning inquiry learning with curriculum standards.

Module 2: Designing Inquiry-Based Learning Experiences: Planning inquiry units and lessons, Formulating effective inquiry questions, Developing scaffolding strategies, Integrating interdisciplinary content, Incorporating student interests and choices, Designing assessment for inquiry learning.

Module 3: Facilitating the Inquiry Process: Guiding student exploration and investigation, Promoting critical thinking and problem-solving, Encouraging collaboration and discussion, Managing classroom dynamics during inquiry, Supporting diverse learners, Using questioning techniques to deepen inquiry.

Module 4: Tools and Resources for Inquiry-Based Learning: Utilizing digital tools and multimedia resources, Accessing and evaluating primary and secondary sources, Incorporating hands-on materials and experiments, Using learning management systems for inquiry projects, Encouraging reflection through journals and portfolios, Leveraging community and real-world connections.

Module 5: Assessing and Reflecting on Inquiry Learning: Formative and summative assessment methods, Rubrics and criteria for inquiry projects, Peer and self-assessment strategies, Providing meaningful feedback, Reflective practices for students and teachers, Using assessment data to inform instruction.

Module 6: Implementing and Sustaining Inquiry-Based Learning: Building a supportive learning environment, Professional development for educators, Engaging families and stakeholders, Overcoming barriers to inquiry implementation, Evaluating program effectiveness, Future trends in inquiry-based education.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
