Objective: The Certified Global Citizenship Education Officer course is designed to equip education professionals with the knowledge and skills to promote global citizenship values such as social justice, cultural diversity, environmental stewardship, and human rights within educational settings. The program covers the principles of global citizenship education, curriculum integration strategies, advocacy and community engagement, and methods to foster critical thinking and empathy among learners.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Foundations of Global Citizenship Education: Definition and key concepts of global citizenship, Historical evolution and frameworks, Importance of global citizenship in today’s world, Core values and principles, Global challenges and interconnectedness, Role of education in fostering global citizenship.

Module 2: Global Awareness and Cultural Competence: Understanding cultural diversity and inclusion, Promoting intercultural dialogue, Addressing stereotypes and biases, Global human rights and social justice, Environmental sustainability awareness, Developing empathy and respect for others.

Module 3: Curriculum Design and Pedagogical Approaches: Integrating global citizenship into curricula, Inquiry-based and experiential learning methods, Project-based learning for global issues, Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, Collaborative and participatory teaching strategies, Using digital tools for global learning.

Module 4: Community Engagement and Partnerships: Building local and global partnerships, Engaging families and communities, Service learning and civic participation, Promoting sustainable development goals (SDGs), Organizing awareness campaigns and events, Networking with NGOs and international organizations.

Module 5: Assessment and Evaluation in Global Citizenship Education: Designing effective assessment tools, Measuring knowledge, attitudes, and skills, Reflective and formative assessment methods, Using feedback to improve learning outcomes, Documenting and reporting progress, Addressing challenges in assessment.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
