Objective: The Certified Meeting & Event Coordinator course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to plan, organize, and execute successful meetings and events. The program covers event planning fundamentals, budgeting, vendor management, venue selection, logistics coordination, marketing and promotion, risk management, and post-event evaluation. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Meeting and Event Coordination: Overview of meeting and event planning, Roles and responsibilities of an event coordinator, Types of meetings and events, Understanding client needs and objectives, Event planning lifecycle, Key industry terminology.

Module 2: Planning and Budgeting: Developing event goals and objectives, Creating detailed event plans, Budget preparation and management, Vendor selection and negotiation, Contract management, Risk assessment and contingency planning.

Module 3: Venue Selection and Logistics: Criteria for selecting venues, Site visits and evaluations, Coordinating venue setup and layout, Managing audio-visual and technical requirements, Arranging transportation and accommodation, Compliance with health and safety regulations.

Module 4: Marketing and Promotion: Developing event marketing strategies, Using social media and digital marketing, Designing promotional materials, Managing registrations and ticketing, Engaging sponsors and partners, Measuring marketing effectiveness.

Module 5: On-site Event Management: Event setup and coordination, Managing staff and volunteers, Handling attendee registration and customer service, Troubleshooting and problem solving during events, Time management on event day, Post-event activities and breakdown.

Module 6: Evaluation and Reporting: Collecting attendee feedback, Analyzing event success metrics, Preparing event reports, Budget reconciliation and financial reporting, Lessons learned and continuous improvement, Building client and stakeholder relationships.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
