Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).
Objective:The Certified Ethical Sourcing Officer course is designed to provide participants with a deep understanding of ethical sourcing principles, sustainability standards, and regulatory compliance. The program covers supplier assessment, labor rights, environmental impact, fair trade practices, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Ethical Sourcing: Definition and importance of ethical sourcing, Principles and standards of ethical sourcing, Global supply chain overview, Stakeholders in ethical sourcing, Impact of unethical sourcing practices, Business benefits of ethical sourcing.
Module 2: Legal and Regulatory Frameworks: International laws and conventions (ILO, UN Global Compact), National labor and environmental laws, Compliance requirements and due diligence, Anti-corruption and anti-bribery laws, Trade regulations and certifications, Penalties and legal risks.
Module 3: Supplier Assessment and Auditing: Supplier selection criteria, Conducting supplier audits and assessments, Social and environmental risk evaluation, Audit tools and methodologies, Reporting and documentation, Managing corrective action plans.
Module 4: Sustainable Procurement Practices: Integrating sustainability into procurement policies, Environmental impact considerations, Fair labor practices and human rights, Supplier development and capacity building, Circular economy and waste reduction, Monitoring and continuous improvement.
Module 5: Risk Management and Mitigation: Identifying ethical sourcing risks, Risk assessment frameworks, Crisis management and response, Stakeholder engagement and communication, Transparency and traceability in supply chains, Use of technology for risk management.
Module 6: Reporting and Communication: Developing ethical sourcing reports, Key performance indicators (KPIs), Internal and external communication strategies, Engaging stakeholders and consumers, Leveraging certifications and labels, Case studies and best practices.
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
- Duration- 60 minutes.
- Number of Questions- 30.
- Number of Questions from each module: 5.
- Language: English.
- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
- There is no negative marking in any module.
