The course covers waste classification, reduction at source, segregation, reuse, recycling, safe disposal, and compliance with local and international environmental regulations. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Construction Waste Management: Definition and types of construction and demolition (C&D) waste, Importance and benefits of waste management, Sources and classification of construction waste, Waste hierarchy: reduce, reuse, recycle, Legal and regulatory framework, Roles and responsibilities of a Waste Management Officer.

Module 2: Waste Identification and Segregation: On-site waste assessment techniques, Waste categorization (hazardous vs. non-hazardous), Segregation methods and color coding, Temporary storage and containment solutions, Use of waste tracking tools, Minimizing contamination of recyclable materials.

Module 3: Waste Reduction Strategies and Planning: Waste Management Plan (WMP) development, Designing for waste minimization, Efficient material procurement and inventory control, Modular and prefabricated construction techniques, Lean construction principles, Site logistics and workflow optimization.

Module 4: Recycling, Reuse, and Disposal Techniques: Material recovery processes, Commonly recycled materials in construction, On-site vs. off-site recycling, Safe disposal methods for hazardous materials, Reuse practices for aggregates, wood, and steel, Coordination with recycling and disposal vendors.

Module 5: Legal Compliance and Documentation: Construction waste regulations and permits, National and local waste disposal guidelines, Environmental impact assessments (EIA), Record-keeping and documentation standards, Waste audit procedures and reporting, Penalties and non-compliance consequences.

Module 6: Sustainability, Training, and Stakeholder Engagement: Sustainable construction principles, Training workers on waste management practices, Communicating with contractors and suppliers, Community and stakeholder awareness, Monitoring and continuous improvement, Certifications and green building standards (LEED, IGBC).

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
