Objective: The Certified Blockchain Solutions Specialist (Hospitality) course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills to understand, implement, and manage blockchain technology applications within the hospitality industry. The program covers blockchain fundamentals, smart contracts, data security, decentralized applications, cryptocurrency integration, and use cases specific to hospitality such as supply chain transparency, loyalty programs, booking systems, and payment solutions. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Blockchain Technology and Hospitality Relevance: Fundamentals of blockchain technology and distributed ledger systems, Key characteristics: decentralization, transparency, immutability, Types of blockchains: public, private, consortium, Overview of smart contracts and tokenization, Understanding the relevance of blockchain in the hospitality industry, Benefits and challenges of blockchain adoption in service environments.

Module 2: Blockchain Use Cases in the Hospitality Sector: Secure and transparent guest identity and verification systems, Blockchain-based loyalty and reward programs, Decentralized booking systems and prevention of overbooking/fraud, Real-time supply chain traceability for food, linen, and amenities, Smart contract automation for vendor and service agreements, Case studies of blockchain integration in global hospitality brands.

Module 3: Digital Identity, Payments, and Data Management: Creating secure digital identities for guests using blockchain, Blockchain-powered KYC and data ownership models, Cryptocurrency and stablecoin payment integration in hospitality, Transparent billing and payment tracking systems, Reducing chargebacks and fraud using immutable records, Managing guest preferences and consent securely across platforms.

Module 4: Smart Contracts and Process Automation: Definition and functioning of smart contracts in business processes, Automating check-in/check-out, room access, and service requests, Vendor management and procurement through blockchain workflows, Smart contract-based SLA monitoring and enforcement, Customizing guest packages and upgrades via automated agreements, Risk mitigation and compliance tracking through contract execution.

Module 5: Technical Infrastructure and Implementation: Overview of blockchain platforms suitable for hospitality (Ethereum, Hyperledger, Solana), Nodes, consensus mechanisms, and transaction validation explained, Integration of blockchain with existing PMS, CRS, and CRM systems, Designing guest-facing blockchain applications (apps, portals, wallets), Security protocols, encryption, and privacy considerations, Steps for blockchain pilot projects and full-scale implementation.

Module 6: Strategy, Regulation, and Future of Blockchain in Hospitality: Evaluating ROI and KPIs for blockchain projects in hospitality, Navigating legal and regulatory frameworks (GDPR, AML, data laws), Sustainability, traceability, and green blockchain practices, Blockchain in tourism ecosystems: airports, resorts, and OTAs, Trends in Web3, NFTs, and decentralized experiences for guests, Building a career in blockchain innovation within the hospitality industry.

• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
