The program covers customer psychology, communication skills, identifying upselling opportunities, product knowledge, handling objections, and delivering value-based recommendations. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Upselling and Sales Psychology: Definition and difference between upselling and cross-selling, Importance of upselling in revenue growth and customer satisfaction, Understanding consumer behavior and buying motives, Psychological triggers that influence purchase decisions, Building trust and rapport before suggesting an upsell, Ethics of upselling and maintaining customer-centric focus.

Module 2: Product Knowledge and Value Communication: Mastering in-depth knowledge of products and services, Identifying features, advantages, and benefits relevant to the customer, Matching the right upsell with customer needs and preferences, Communicating value rather than just price or features, Customizing product suggestions for different customer profiles, Demonstrating and positioning add-ons as meaningful upgrades.

Module 3: Communication and Persuasion Techniques: Active listening and identifying buying signals, Framing offers using persuasive and benefit-driven language, Verbal and non-verbal cues that support confident upselling, Handling objections without being pushy or aggressive, Asking the right questions to guide customer choices, Role-playing and scripting effective upselling conversations.

Module 4: Upselling in Various Industry Scenarios: Hospitality: room upgrades, spa packages, dining options, Retail: premium products, bundling, warranties, and subscriptions, Food & beverage: combos, beverages, and dessert suggestions, Fitness & wellness: higher-tier plans, supplements, personal training, E-commerce: product recommendations, extended services, add-ons, Real-life case studies and success examples from different sectors.

Module 5: Technology and Tools for Effective Upselling: CRM systems and point-of-sale tools that support upselling, Using data analytics and customer purchase history for targeted offers, Mobile and digital platforms for automated upsell prompts, Personalization through AI and smart recommendation engines, Upsell tracking, reporting, and performance metrics, Integrating upselling into customer service and online channels.

Module 6: Monitoring Performance and Professional Growth: Setting upselling goals and KPIs (conversion rate, average ticket size), Evaluating and improving upselling strategies based on results, Coaching team members and building a culture of value-driven selling, Building long-term customer loyalty through ethical upselling, Conducting feedback surveys and improving based on insights, Career pathways, certifications, and personal development as an upselling expert.
