Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Foundations of Mindfulness and Its Origins: Definition and principles of mindfulness, Historical roots in Buddhist and contemplative traditions, Scientific understanding of mindfulness and its benefits, Key figures and modern applications (MBSR, MBCT), Distinction between mindfulness, meditation, and awareness, Ethical foundations and intentions in mindfulness practice.

Module 2: Mindfulness Practices and Techniques: Formal mindfulness practices: breath awareness, body scan, sitting meditation, Informal mindfulness: mindful walking, eating, and daily activities, Loving-kindness and compassion practices, Use of mantras, visualization, and sound in mindfulness, Dealing with distractions, discomfort, and resistance during practice, Journaling and reflective exercises to deepen awareness.

Module 3: Neuroscience and Psychology of Mindfulness; Brain structures affected by mindfulness (amygdala, prefrontal cortex, hippocampus), Impact of mindfulness on stress response and emotional regulation, Mindfulness and neuroplasticity: rewiring the brain, Psychological benefits: focus, self-awareness, resilience, and empathy, Evidence-based research supporting mindfulness outcomes, Mindfulness in behavior change and habit formation.

Module 4: Teaching Mindfulness: Skills and Methodology: Developing your own practice as a foundation for teaching, Voice tone, pace, and presence in guiding sessions, Structuring group and individual mindfulness sessions, Facilitating mindful dialogue and inquiry-based learning, Adapting practices for different age groups and populations, Managing challenges and creating safe, inclusive spaces.

Module 5: Mindfulness for Specific Populations and Settings; Mindfulness in schools and youth education, Mindfulness for corporate wellness and stress reduction, Clinical applications: anxiety, depression, chronic pain, Mindfulness for caregivers, healthcare professionals, and trauma survivors, Mindful parenting and family integration, Designing mindfulness programs for community and social outreach.

Module 6: Professional Practice, Ethics, and Program Development: Ethical guidelines and boundaries for mindfulness teachers, Certification requirements and continuing education, Creating mindfulness courses and workshops, Marketing and promoting mindfulness services, Building a sustainable mindfulness-based practice or business, Evaluating progress and measuring participant outcomes.

  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
