Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).
Objective: The Certified Health Coach course is designed to train individuals to support clients in achieving optimal health through personalized, goal-oriented coaching strategies. This course provides a solid foundation in health and wellness principles, behavior change theories, motivational interviewing, and client-centered communication.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Introduction to Health Coaching and Wellness Concepts: Definition and scope of health coaching, Differences between health coaching, wellness coaching, and clinical counseling, Core values, ethics, and professional standards, Overview of health behavior change theories (e.g., TTM, HBM), Role of the coach in empowering clients for self-directed change, Establishing the coach-client relationship and building trust.
Module 2: Anatomy, Physiology and Nutrition Basics: Basic understanding of human anatomy and physiology, Key systems relevant to health and wellness (cardiovascular, digestive, endocrine), Macronutrients and micronutrients – functions and sources, Guidelines for balanced diet and healthy eating habits, Impact of nutrition on energy, mood, and immunity, Common nutrition myths and coaching through diet challenges.
Module 3: Lifestyle Management and Physical Activity: Importance of physical activity for health and disease prevention, Coaching clients through personalized exercise planning, Managing sleep routines and improving sleep hygiene, Stress management techniques (breathing, mindfulness, yoga), Supporting substance use reduction and tobacco cessation, Tracking and improving daily lifestyle behaviors.
Module 4: Coaching Techniques and Client Communication: Active listening and non-judgmental presence, Using motivational interviewing and positive psychology tools, Setting SMART goals and action steps, Building accountability and follow-up strategies, Handling ambivalence, resistance, and relapses, Coaching across different client stages and personalities.
Module 5: Mental Health Awareness and Emotional Wellness: Understanding the connection between mental and physical health, Recognizing signs of anxiety, depression, and burnout, Tools for emotional regulation and resilience building, Encouraging self-care and emotional literacy, When to refer to mental health professionals, Coaching clients through mindset and self-worth issues.
Module 6: Practice Management and Professional Development: Designing health coaching sessions and structured programs, Record-keeping, consent, and confidentiality, Legal scope and limitations of a health coach, Branding, marketing, and business development strategies, Using technology and online platforms for virtual coaching, Continuing education, certifications, and career advancement pathways.
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
- Duration- 60 minutes.
- Number of Questions- 30.
- Number of Questions from each module: 5.
- Language: English.
- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
