Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).
Objective: The Certified Wellness Coach course aims to equip individuals with the knowledge, communication skills, and behavioral strategies necessary to guide clients toward achieving holistic well-being. The course trains participants in areas such as nutrition, physical activity, stress management, sleep hygiene, mental and emotional wellness, and lifestyle modification. Emphasis is placed on coaching methodologies, motivational interviewing, goal setting, behavior change models, and accountability support.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Foundations of Wellness Coaching: Definition, scope and role of a wellness coach, Principles of holistic health and wellness, Core competencies and ethics in coaching, Understanding the coaching relationship and boundaries, Models of behavior change (e.g., Transtheoretical Model, SMART goals), Establishing trust, rapport and effective communication.
Module 2: Physical Wellness and Lifestyle Habits: Components of physical wellness: exercise, sleep, hydration, Understanding the impact of nutrition on overall well-being, Promoting sustainable fitness and movement routines, Strategies for improving sleep hygiene and energy management, Preventing burnout and managing chronic fatigue, Coaching clients through realistic habit formation.
Module 3: Mental and Emotional Well-being: Understanding emotional intelligence and self-regulation, Identifying stress triggers and coping mechanisms, Mindfulness, meditation and breathing techniques for stress relief, Supporting clients with anxiety, low motivation or negative self-talk, Promoting work-life balance and resilience, Integrating mental wellness into coaching conversations.
Module 4: Coaching Communication and Techniques: Active listening and open-ended questioning skills, Motivational interviewing and goal-setting strategies, Using reflective feedback and accountability methods, Creating client-centered wellness action plans, Managing resistance, setbacks, and behavioral relapses, Virtual coaching tools and platforms for client interaction.
Module 5: Integrative Wellness and Holistic Health: Exploring dimensions of wellness: social, spiritual, occupational, Environmental wellness and digital detox strategies, Role of alternative therapies (yoga, Ayurveda, naturopathy), Personalizing wellness plans to client lifestyle and values, Encouraging self-awareness and purpose-driven living, Collaborating with other health professionals as needed.
Module 6: Business, Ethics and Professional Growth: Setting up a wellness coaching practice or program, Marketing and promoting wellness services ethically, Legal, confidentiality and consent in client interactions, Creating coaching packages, pricing and contracts, Tracking progress and maintaining coaching records, Continuing education and certification pathways for growth.
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
- Duration- 60 minutes.
- Number of Questions- 30.
- Number of Questions from each module: 5.
- Language: English.
- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
- There is no negative marking in any module.
