Objective: The Certified Web Designer (Media) course is designed to equip learners with the creative and technical skills required to design engaging, responsive, and content-rich websites tailored for media platforms such as news portals, streaming services, entertainment blogs, digital magazines, and portfolio sites. The course covers UI/UX principles, layout design, typography, color schemes, content structuring, media integration (audio, video, galleries), and web accessibility standards. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Web Design for Media Platforms: Understanding the role of a web designer in the media industry, Overview of media websites: news portals, entertainment, film, podcast, streaming, Key elements of effective media websites: layout, responsiveness, interactivity, Web standards, accessibility, and usability principles, Differences between static, dynamic, and CMS-based media sites, Current trends and technologies in digital media web design.

Module 2: UI/UX Design and Prototyping for Media Sites: Principles of user interface design tailored for media consumption, Wireframing and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch), Designing for multimedia elements: image galleries, video players, podcast widgets, Structuring user journeys: navigation, search, categories, and filters, Designing for engagement: comments, shares, and call-to-actions, Accessibility and mobile-first design for diverse audiences.

Module 3: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for Media Content: Writing semantic HTML for structured media content, Styling media layouts using CSS Grid, Flexbox, and responsive units, Embedding audio, video, and media players with HTML5, Using JavaScript for interactivity: sliders, modals, tabs, lazy loading, Implementing media lightboxes, scroll effects, and playback triggers, Optimizing performance for heavy media assets.

Module 4: Content Management Systems and Media Integration: Working with CMS platforms like WordPress for media-rich websites, Customizing themes and templates for entertainment and news portals, Managing media uploads, categories, and tagging, Embedding third-party media (YouTube, Vimeo, SoundCloud, Spotify), Using plugins and widgets for sliders, carousels, podcasts, Integrating social media feeds and video galleries.

Module 5: SEO, Analytics, and Web Publishing for Media: Implementing SEO best practices for media-heavy websites, Structuring URLs, metadata, schema for articles and videos, Using Google Analytics and Search Console for media traffic insights, Ensuring fast load times and Core Web Vitals for ranking, Preparing websites for publishing and browser compatibility checks, Hosting, domain management, and SSL integration.

Module 6: Media Web Project and Career Preparation: Planning and developing a complete media website project, Portfolio-building: case studies, screenshots, hosted links, Testing and debugging across browsers and screen sizes, Preparing documentation and user guides for media teams, Freelancing, agency, and in-house career paths in media web design, Staying updated with trends in media tech, design systems, and tools.
