Objective: The Certified Sketch Artist/Illustrator course aims to equip students with comprehensive skills in drawing and illustration techniques, focusing on developing proficiency in visual representation through sketching. Students will learn foundational art principles such as perspective, anatomy, shading, and composition, along with advanced methods for creating detailed and expressive sketches. The course covers both traditional and digital mediums, enabling learners to adapt their skills across various platforms. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Sketching: Introduction to Sketching, Basic Drawing Tools and Materials, Understanding Lines and Shapes, Proportions and Perspective, Light and Shadow Basics, Sketching from Observation.

Module 2: Human Anatomy for Artists: Overview of Human Anatomy, Proportions of the Human Body, Drawing the Head and Face, Sketching Hands and Feet, Muscle Structure and Movement, Gesture Drawing Techniques.

Module 3: Techniques and Styles in Illustration: Line Art Techniques, Shading and Texturing Methods, Cross-Hatching and Stippling, Exploring Different Styles (Realism, Cartoon, Abstract), Use of Color in Illustration, Mixed Media Applications.

Module 4: Digital Sketching and Tools: Introduction to Digital Illustration Software, Using Graphics Tablets and Stylus, Digital Brush Types and Effects, Layers and Masks, Creating Digital Sketches, Exporting and Preparing Files for Print/Web.

Module 5: Creative Concept Development: Idea Generation and Brainstorming, Thumbnail Sketches and Storyboarding, Visual Storytelling Principles, Character Design Basics, Environment and Background Sketching, Refining and Finalizing Concepts.

Module 6: Professional Practice and Portfolio Development: Understanding the Role of a Certified Sketch Artist, Client Communication and Brief Analysis, Time Management and Workflow, Building a Professional Portfolio, Presentation and Critique Skills, Career Opportunities and Continuing Education.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
