Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Landscape Artist course aims to equip students with comprehensive skills and knowledge required to create professional-quality landscape artworks. This course covers fundamental techniques such as composition, perspective, color theory, and the use of various media including pencil, watercolor, acrylics, and oils. Students will learn to observe and interpret natural landscapes, improve their ability to depict light, texture, and atmosphere, and develop their personal artistic style.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Fundamentals of Landscape Art: Elements of design in landscape art, Principles of composition, Color theory and application, Understanding light and shadow, Introduction to perspective drawing, Tools and materials for landscape painting.

Module 2: Drawing and Sketching Techniques: Basic sketching techniques, Contour drawing, Gesture drawing for landscapes, Using pencils, charcoal, and ink, Creating texture and detail, Developing quick landscape studies.

Module 3: Painting Techniques and Mediums: Watercolor techniques for landscapes, Acrylic painting methods, Oil painting basics, Mixing colors and palettes, Layering and glazing, Handling brushes and tools effectively.

Module 4: Landscape Observation and Interpretation: Studying natural forms and textures, Capturing atmosphere and mood, Understanding environmental elements, Fieldwork and plein air painting, Translating observation into artwork, Developing personal style in landscapes.

Module 5: Advanced Composition and Design: Creating focal points and balance, Using depth and space effectively, Dynamic compositions, Incorporating human elements, Seasonal changes and lighting effects, Designing for different landscape types.

Module 6: Professional Practice and Presentation: Preparing artwork for exhibition, Photographing and digitizing landscapes, Portfolio development, Marketing and branding as a landscape artist, Understanding art markets and galleries, Ethics and environmental responsibility in art.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
