Objective: The Certified Digital Painting Artist course aims to equip students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in digital painting techniques using industry-standard software and tools. Participants will learn foundational art principles such as color theory, composition, anatomy, and lighting, alongside advanced digital skills like layering, brush customization, texture creation, and digital workflows. The course prepares learners to create professional-quality digital artwork for various applications including concept art, illustration, game design, and animation.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Digital Painting: History of digital art, Overview of digital painting software, Understanding hardware tools (tablet, stylus), Basics of digital art workflows, Comparison between traditional and digital painting, Introduction to digital art file formats and resolutions.

Module 2: Digital Painting Fundamentals: Color theory and color mixing in digital media, Brush types and customization, Understanding layers and masks, Composition and perspective basics, Light and shadow principles, Texture creation techniques.

Module 3: Software Tools and Techniques: Advanced brush settings and dynamics, Using selection and transformation tools, Working with blending modes, Introduction to digital sculpting, Techniques for smooth blending and gradients, Time-saving shortcuts and workflow optimization.

Module 4: Character Design and Illustration: Anatomy basics for digital artists, Facial features and expressions, Clothing and fabric rendering, Dynamic poses and gesture drawing, Creating original character concepts, Adding details and finishing touches.

Module 5: Environment and Background Painting: Landscape composition principles, Atmospheric perspective techniques, Painting skies, clouds, and weather effects, Creating natural textures (rocks, water, foliage), Urban and architectural backgrounds, Lighting and mood setting.

Module 6: Project Development and Portfolio Building: Planning and sketching digital art projects, Iterative refinement and critique process, Preparing artwork for print and web, Building a professional portfolio, Branding and self-promotion as a digital artist, Introduction to freelancing and client management.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
