Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Game Artist course aims to equip students with comprehensive skills and knowledge required to create visually compelling and technically sound game art. It covers fundamental principles of art and design, digital painting, 3D modeling, texturing, animation, and the use of industry-standard software tools. Students will learn how to design characters, environments, and assets that enhance gameplay and storytelling.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Fundamentals of Game Art: Introduction to Game Art, Principles of Design in Games, Color Theory and Application, Basic Drawing Techniques, Understanding 2D vs 3D Art, Art Styles in Games.

Module 2: Digital Art Tools and Software: Overview of Industry-standard Software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Blender), Basics of Digital Painting, Vector vs Raster Graphics, Introduction to 3D Modeling Tools, Texture Creation Techniques, Software Workflow and File Management.

Module 3: 2D Game Art Creation: Character Design and Development, Environment and Background Art, Sprite Creation and Animation, UI Elements and Icon Design, Pixel Art Techniques, Creating Game Concept Art.

Module 4: 3D Modeling and Texturing: 3D Modeling Fundamentals, Low-poly vs High-poly Modeling, UV Mapping and Texturing, Materials and Shaders Basics, Rigging and Basic Animation, Importing Models into Game Engines.

Module 5: Animation for Games: Principles of Animation, 2D Animation Techniques, 3D Character Animation, Motion Capture Basics, Creating Animations for Game Mechanics, Animation Optimization for Performance.

Module 6: Game Art Integration and Portfolio Development: Working with Game Engines (Unity/Unreal), Asset Optimization and Exporting, Collaborating with Developers, Creating an Effective Art Portfolio, Industry Best Practices and Trends, Career Pathways and Freelancing Tips.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
