Objective: The objective of the Certified Creative Hair Stylist course is to provide students with comprehensive training in both foundational and advanced hair styling techniques, with a strong emphasis on creative expression and current industry trends. The course is designed to develop professional skills in cutting, coloring, texturizing, and styling for a wide variety of hair types and occasions, including editorial, bridal, runway, and cinematic looks.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Fundamentals of Hair and Scalp: Structure and function of hair and scalp, Hair types and textures, Scalp disorders and treatments, Hair growth cycles and maintenance, Hygiene and sanitation standards, Hair and scalp analysis techniques.

Module 2: Hair Cutting Techniques: Basic haircutting tools and usage, Sectioning and parting methods, Layering, texturizing, and graduation techniques, Classic cuts: bob, pixie, and blunt, Advanced cutting for long and short hair, Client consultation and face shape analysis.

Module 3: Hair Styling and Finishing: Blow-drying and heat styling techniques, Braiding and updo styles, Use of rollers, tongs, and curling irons, Styling for events: bridal and editorial, Finishing products and styling tools, Trend forecasting and creative expression.

Module 4: Hair Coloring and Chemical Treatments: Understanding color theory and the color wheel, Types of hair dyes: temporary, semi, demi, permanent, Techniques: highlights, balayage, ombré, Pre-lightening and toning processes, Color correction and troubleshooting, Chemical treatments: perming, straightening, relaxing.

Module 5: Creative and Avant-Garde Hair Design: Fantasy and runway hair styling, Use of wigs, extensions, and hairpieces, Sculptural and editorial hair designs, Cultural and historical hair influences, Hair design for theater and media, Building mood boards and concept development.

Module 6: Professionalism and Industry Readiness: Client communication and consultation skills, Time and salon management, Health and safety compliance, Portfolio development and presentation, Social media branding for stylists, Job placement and entrepreneurship basics.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
