Objective: The Certified Procurement Specialist course aims to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge of procurement processes, policies, and best practices. It focuses on strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation, risk mitigation, and ethical purchasing practices. The course prepares professionals to make informed procurement decisions that align with organizational goals, enhance value for money, ensure legal and regulatory compliance, and optimize the supply chain.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Procurement: Procurement fundamentals, Objectives and scope of procurement, Types of procurement (direct, indirect, strategic), Procurement cycle overview, Key stakeholders in procurement, Procurement vs purchasing.

Module 2: Strategic Sourcing and Planning: Sourcing strategies and models, Spend analysis and categorization, Supplier selection and evaluation, Make vs buy decision analysis, Cost and value analysis, Total cost of ownership (TCO).

Module 3: Supplier Management and Development: Supplier onboarding process, Supplier performance metrics (KPIs), Supplier relationship management (SRM), Risk management in supplier selection, Contract negotiation and management, Ethical and sustainable sourcing.

Module 4: Procurement Operations and Processes: Requisition to pay (R2P) cycle, E-procurement tools and platforms, Inventory and logistics coordination, Procurement documentation and compliance, Quality control and inspection procedures, Cross-functional collaboration.

Module 5: Legal and Contractual Aspects: Key procurement laws and regulations, Types of procurement contracts, Terms and conditions essentials, Contract lifecycle management, Dispute resolution and arbitration, Compliance and audit requirements.

Module 6: Procurement Analytics and Performance Improvement: KPIs and procurement dashboards, Spend analysis techniques, Benchmarking procurement performance, Process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma), Digital transformation in procurement, Trends in procurement technology.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
