Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Event Logistics Coordinator course is designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge required to manage all logistical aspects of events, including conferences, exhibitions, concerts, and corporate functions. The course covers logistics planning, vendor coordination, transportation and freight handling, equipment and materials management, venue setup and breakdown, scheduling, risk management, and compliance with safety and local regulations. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Event Logistics and Planning: Role and responsibilities of an Event Logistics Coordinator, Types of events: corporate, public, private, exhibitions, and conferences, Phases of event planning: pre-event, live-event, post-event, Key logistics elements: venue, transport, inventory, and scheduling, Coordination with stakeholders: clients, vendors, staff, government bodies, Overview of event timelines, checklists, and task delegation.

Module 2: Venue Operations and Infrastructure Management: Site selection criteria and venue suitability analysis, Layout planning: entrances, stage setup, seating, and emergency exits, Infrastructure setup: electricity, water, signage, Wi-Fi, sanitation, Accessibility and compliance with safety, health, and fire regulations, Coordination of vendor installations and teardown schedules, Venue contingency planning for logistics and infrastructure failures.

Module 3: Transportation, Freight, and Material Handling: Planning transport for staff, guests, equipment, and materials, Coordination of inbound/outbound shipments for event setup, Freight logistics for stage, lighting, AV, and exhibition items, Use of logistics tools for route optimization and scheduling, Loading/unloading procedures, damage control, and insurance, Managing customs clearance and international shipments (for global events).

Module 4: Inventory, Procurement, and Vendor Coordination: Material planning: inventory list creation and tracking tools, Procurement process for equipment, supplies, and giveaways, Vendor selection, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs), Coordinating timely deliveries and on-site storage, Tracking and returning rented or leased materials, Real-time communication with vendors and resolving last-minute issues.

Module 5: On-Site Logistics and Crowd Management: Setting up backstage, registration counters, security checkpoints, Staff coordination and assignment using communication tools and apps, Entry and exit flow design for guests and VIPs, Signage, wayfinding, and attendee guidance systems, Emergency protocols and safety resource allocation, Crowd control strategies and contingency logistics planning.

Module 6: Post-Event Logistics and Sustainability: Dismantling and return logistics of materials and rentals, Waste management, recycling, and eco-friendly logistics practices, Logistics audit: what went right, what failed, and improvement areas, Client feedback collection and stakeholder debriefing, Final inventory reconciliation and vendor settlement, Report generation and best practices for future events.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
