Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Basics of Textile Chemical Processing: Introduction to textile chemical processing, Overview of wet processing stages, Types of textile fibers and their chemical behavior, Role of a chemical processing operator, Safety practices and use of PPE in chemical processing, Water quality and its importance in wet processing.

Module 2: Pre-treatment Processes: Objectives of pre-treatment in textile processing, Desizing, scouring, and bleaching methods, Enzymatic vs conventional pre-treatment, Equipment used in pre-treatment, Process parameters and quality control, Handling of chemicals and effluents.

Module 3: Dyeing Operations and Techniques: Types of dyes and their application methods, Dyeing machines (jigger, winch, soft flow, jet), Batch, semi-continuous and continuous dyeing processes, Dyeing of cotton, polyester, and blends, Common dyeing faults and their remedies, Color matching and shade correction.

Module 4: Printing and Finishing Processes: Printing techniques (screen, roller, digital), Preparation of print paste and printing recipes, Fixation and after-treatment of prints, Chemical finishing types (softening, stiffening, water-repellent), Mechanical finishing processes overview, Final inspection and quality control.

Module 5: Chemical Handling, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Classification and labeling of chemicals, Storage, mixing, and dosing procedures, First aid and emergency response for chemical exposure, Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) functioning, Environmental standards and compliance (REACH, ZDHC), Waste minimization and chemical substitution.

Module 6: Process Monitoring and Operator Skills: Use of control panels and dosing systems, Recording process parameters and maintaining logs, Preventive maintenance of chemical processing equipment, Troubleshooting common process issues, Communication and teamwork on shop floor, Career development and growth opportunities in chemical processing operations.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.

  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
