Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The objective of the Certified Yoga Therapist course is to equip students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills to apply yoga therapeutically for improving physical, mental, and emotional health. The course aims to deepen understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and psychology, alongside advanced yogic techniques such as asanas, pranayama, meditation, and yogic counseling.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Foundations of Yoga Therapy: History and Philosophy of Yoga, Principles of Yoga Therapy, Introduction to Anatomy and Physiology, Yoga vs. Modern Medicine, Types of Yoga and Their Therapeutic Applications, Ethical Considerations in Yoga Therapy

Module 2: Yoga Therapy Techniques: Asanas for Therapy, Pranayama and Breath Control, Meditation and Mindfulness Practices, Relaxation Techniques, Use of Mudras and Bandhas, Therapeutic Sequencing and Customization

Module 3: Medical and Psychological Aspects: Common Chronic Conditions and Yoga Therapy (e.g., Diabetes, Hypertension), Mental Health Disorders and Yoga, Understanding Pain Management, Role of Yoga in Rehabilitation, Psychological Counseling Basics, Assessing Patient Readiness and Contraindications

Module 4: Client Assessment and Program Design: Initial Consultation and Health History Taking, Designing Individualized Yoga Therapy Plans, Goal Setting and Progress Tracking, Modifications and Adaptations for Special Populations, Documentation and Record Keeping, Client Communication and Motivation

Module 5: Practical Applications and Case Studies: Yoga Therapy for Musculoskeletal Disorders, Yoga for Cardiovascular Health, Yoga in Respiratory Conditions, Managing Stress and Anxiety through Yoga, Pediatric and Geriatric Yoga Therapy, Review of Case Studies and Practical Sessions

Module 6: Professional Development and Research: Building a Yoga Therapy Practice, Legal and Regulatory Aspects, Marketing and Client Outreach, Continuing Education and Certification, Research Methodology in Yoga Therapy, Writing and Publishing Case Reports

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
