Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Export and Import Management Professional course aims to equip participants with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills required to manage international trade operations effectively. The program covers critical areas such as export-import regulations, documentation, customs procedures, logistics, risk management, trade finance, and international marketing strategies.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: International Trade Fundamentals: Global trade theories, Introduction to export-import ecosystem, Trade blocs and international agreements, Role of WTO and trade regulations, Trade documentation basics, INCOTERMS and their applications

Module 2: Export Management: Export readiness and product selection, Export market research and strategy, Export pricing and costing, Export documentation and compliance, Role of export promotion councils, Export finance and incentives

Module 3: Import Management: Import procedures and regulations, Import licensing and documentation, Customs clearance and assessments, Supplier identification and negotiation, Import financing and payment terms, Risk management in imports

Module 4: Logistics and Supply Chain in International Trade: Modes of international transport, Freight forwarding and cargo handling, Packaging, labeling and marking, Warehousing and inventory management, Logistics cost management, Role of customs brokers and shipping agents

Module 5: Foreign Trade Policy and Legal Framework: India’s Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), Customs Act and related regulations, DGFT guidelines and procedures, Export-import compliance audits, Trade dispute resolution, International commercial laws and arbitration

Module 6: Digital Trade, E-commerce & Future Trends: Digitization in international trade, Online B2B platforms and marketplaces, Cross-border e-commerce logistics, Blockchain and AI in trade, Sustainability and green trade practices, Emerging global trade trends

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
