Objective: The objective of the Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional course is to train individuals in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating electrical hazards in the workplace. This course focuses on national and international safety standards, safe work practices, risk assessment, and emergency procedures to promote a safe electrical environment and ensure legal compliance.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Fundamentals of Electrical Safety: Basic concepts of electricity and hazards, Electrical shock and arc flash overview, Common causes of electrical accidents, Understanding current, voltage, resistance, and power, Human body resistance and electrical exposure effects, Importance of electrical safety compliance.

Module 2: Electrical Standards and Regulations: Overview of national and international safety standards (IS, IEC, NEC, OSHA), Electrical codes and legal requirements, Responsibilities of employers and employees, Certification and inspection requirements, Penalties for non-compliance, Role of safety audits and inspections.

Module 3: Electrical Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment: Types of electrical hazards (shock, arc flash, fire, explosion), Hazard identification techniques, Performing risk assessments and job hazard analysis (JHA), Categorizing risk levels and mitigation strategies, Labeling and signage for electrical risks, Safety documentation and reporting procedures.

Module 4: Safe Work Practices and Procedures: Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, Safe installation and maintenance practices, Personal protective equipment (PPE) for electrical work, Safe use of electrical tools and equipment, Work area isolation and control measures, Emergency response and first aid for electrical incidents.

Module 5: Inspection, Testing and Maintenance: Routine safety inspections and checklists, Testing procedures for electrical systems and equipment, Grounding and bonding practices, Insulation resistance and continuity testing, Preventive maintenance schedules, Record keeping and compliance tracking.

Module 6: Training, Communication and Safety Culture: Training requirements for electrical workers, Safety meetings and toolbox talks, Promoting a safety-first workplace culture, Communication of risks and procedures, Investigating and learning from electrical incidents, Continual improvement and feedback integration.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
