Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent.

Duration: Three Months.

Objective: The Certificate in Financial Data Analyst course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills required to analyze, interpret, and leverage financial data for effective decision-making. The program focuses on developing expertise in financial modeling, data analytics, risk assessment, and investment evaluation, using modern tools and technologies.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Introduction to Financial Data Analysis – Role and Responsibilities of a Financial Data Analyst, Overview of Financial Markets and Instruments, Types of Financial Data (Market, Accounting, Economic), Data Sources and Collection Methods, Importance of Data Quality and Integrity, Ethical Standards and Professional Conduct

Module 2: Financial Accounting and Reporting – Basics of Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow), Understanding Accounting Principles and Standards, Analysis of Historical Financial Data, Ratio Analysis and Performance Metrics, Financial Statement Reconciliation, Reporting and Visualization Techniques

Module 3: Data Management and Tools – Data Cleaning and Preparation Techniques, Database Management Systems (SQL, NoSQL), Data Warehousing and ETL Processes, Financial Data Formats and Structures, Introduction to Financial Analytics Software (Excel, Power BI, Tableau), Ensuring Data Accuracy and Security

Module 4: Quantitative and Statistical Analysis – Descriptive and Inferential Statistics for Finance, Time Series Analysis and Forecasting, Regression Analysis and Correlation Studies, Risk and Return Modeling, Portfolio Analytics and Optimization, Scenario and Sensitivity Analysis

Module 5: Financial Modeling and Predictive Analytics – Building Financial Models for Valuation and Forecasting, Cash Flow and Profitability Projections, Scenario Analysis and Stress Testing, Predictive Modeling using Machine Learning Techniques, Risk Assessment and Mitigation Models, Model Validation and Backtesting

Module 6: Reporting, Visualization, and Decision Support – Data Visualization Best Practices for Finance, Dashboard Design and Interactive Reports, Financial KPIs and Performance Tracking, Communicating Insights to Stakeholders, Supporting Strategic Financial Decisions, Automation of Reporting and Continuous Monitoring

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
