Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Foundations of Career Counselling: Introduction to career counselling and guidance, History and evolution of career counselling practices, Theories of career development (Holland, Super, Krumboltz, Savickas), Ethics and professional standards in counselling, Roles and responsibilities of a career counsellor, Understanding diverse populations and inclusion in career guidance

Module 2: Career Assessment and Evaluation: Types of career assessments (aptitude, interest, personality, and values), Psychometric testing tools and interpretation, Administering and scoring standardized career tests, Integrating assessment results into counselling plans, Using data to guide decision-making, Ethical considerations in testing and feedback

Module 3: Career Guidance Process and Techniques: Stages of the career counselling process, Goal setting and action planning with clients, Communication and active listening skills, Motivational interviewing and coaching techniques, Decision-making models in career planning, Handling client resistance and uncertainty

Module 4: Educational and Occupational Information: Overview of educational systems and career pathways, Vocational and professional courses across disciplines, Labour market trends and future skill demands, Exploring emerging careers and industries, Job roles, qualifications, and progression opportunities, Resources for career exploration and research

Module 5: Career Development Programs and Interventions: Designing career guidance workshops and programs, School and college-based career counselling initiatives, Employability skills training and resume development, Interview preparation and career transition support, Entrepreneurship and self-employment guidance, Evaluating the effectiveness of career counselling programs

Module 6: Technology, Ethics, and Professional Growth in Career Counselling: Digital tools and platforms for career counselling, Using AI and data analytics in career guidance, Online career assessment and virtual counselling, Legal and ethical responsibilities in digital counselling, Continuous professional development and credentialing, Building a personal brand and professional network as a counsellor
