Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Wedding and Event Manager course is designed to equip professionals with the skills and knowledge to plan, organize, and manage weddings and corporate or social events successfully. The program covers event conceptualization, budgeting, vendor management, logistics, guest experience, marketing, and risk management.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 2 (Client Engagement & Concept Development): Client consultation and brief gathering, Creating event vision and theme, Mood‑boarding and concept design, Understanding customer needs & cultural/routine rituals, Value proposition and service packages, Contracts and client negotiation

Module 3 (Planning & Logistics Management): Budgeting and financial planning, Timeline creation and scheduling, Venue selection and site inspection, Vendor sourcing and vendor management (decor, catering, entertainment), Logistics planning (transport, accommodation), Risk assessment, permits & contingency planning

Module 4 (Design, Décor & Experience): Space layout & seating arrangements, Floral & décor design, Lighting, staging & technical production, Guest flow and experiential design, Entertainment planning (music, performers), Guest hospitality & guest journey management

Module 5 (Execution & On‑Site Coordination): Team structure and crew management, Rehearsals and walk‑throughs, Day-of event coordination, Setup & tear-down operations, Vendor coordination during the event, Troubleshooting & crisis management

Module 6 (Post‑Event Management & Business Growth): Post‑event evaluation and feedback collection, Event reporting and financial reconciliation, Client follow-up and retention strategies, Marketing and branding for future events, Building a vendor network and partnerships, Scaling business — destination events, hybrid/hybrid weddings, continuous innovation

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
