Objective: The Certified BIM Coordinator course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and practical skills to manage and coordinate Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes in construction projects. Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to BIM: Role and responsibilities of a BIM Coordinator, Importance of BIM in construction projects, Overview of BIM levels and standards, Key stakeholders and collaboration processes, BIM software tools overview, Trends and innovations in BIM technology

Module 2: BIM Software and Tools: Overview of popular BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, ArchiCAD), 3D modeling techniques, Software interoperability and data exchange, Model management and version control, Visualization and simulation tools, Hands-on exercises in BIM software

Module 3: BIM Project Setup and Management: Project setup and template creation, Coordinating multi-disciplinary BIM models, Establishing BIM execution plans (BEP), Naming conventions and file organization, Model auditing and quality control, Collaboration workflows and cloud-based platforms

Module 4: Clash Detection and Coordination: Identifying clashes and interferences in BIM models, Clash detection software tools, Coordination meetings and issue tracking, Conflict resolution and reporting, Integration with project schedules and cost data, Documentation of coordination outcomes

Module 5: BIM for Construction and Facility Management: Model-based quantity takeoff and cost estimation, Scheduling and 4D/5D simulations, Construction sequencing and site planning, Integration with project management systems, Handover and as-built documentation, Supporting facility management and maintenance

Module 6: Professional Development and Communication: Effective communication with project teams and stakeholders, Training and mentoring team members on BIM processes, Ethical practices and professional responsibility, Problem-solving and decision-making in BIM coordination, Continuing education and certification pathways, Career growth opportunities in BIM management
