Eligibility: 10th (High School) or Equivalent.

Duration: Three Months.

Objective: The Certificate in Construction Painting and Finishing course is designed to equip professionals with the technical skills and knowledge required to perform high-quality painting, coating, and finishing work in construction and industrial projects. Participants will learn surface preparation, paint and coating types, application techniques, color theory, protective coatings, and finishing methods for different materials.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 2: Surface Preparation Techniques: Cleaning, sanding, and smoothing surfaces, Repairing cracks, holes, and imperfections, Priming and undercoating, Rust and corrosion treatment, Masking and protection of surrounding areas, Inspection before painting

Module 3: Painting and Coating Application: Manual brush and roller techniques, Spray painting and automated application methods, Layering, drying, and curing processes, Color matching and blending, Special finishes and textures, Techniques for interior and exterior surfaces

Module 4: Finishing and Decorative Techniques: Varnishing, lacquering, and staining, Faux finishes and decorative coatings, Protective coatings for wood, metal, and concrete, Polishing and buffing techniques, Application of sealants and topcoats, Quality assessment of finished surfaces

Module 5: Equipment, Materials, and Maintenance: Types of painting tools and equipment, Selection and storage of paints and materials, Cleaning and maintenance of tools and spray systems, Calibration and troubleshooting of equipment, Handling hazardous materials safely, Sustainable and eco-friendly material practices

Module 6: Safety, Compliance, and Professional Development: Personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices, Hazard identification and risk management, Compliance with local and national regulations, Waste disposal and environmental protection, Continuous learning and skill improvement, Career growth and certification pathways

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
