The course covers crisis risk assessment, development of crisis management plans, formation and training of crisis response teams, business continuity planning, and stakeholder communication during high-stress scenarios.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Foundations of Crisis Management: Definition and types of crises, Roles and responsibilities of a crisis management officer, Crisis lifecycle and phases (prevention, preparedness, response, recovery), Legal and ethical considerations in crisis management, Organizational crisis management frameworks, Building a crisis-ready culture.

Module 2: Risk Assessment and Crisis Prevention: Identifying potential crisis scenarios and hazards, Risk assessment methodologies and tools, Early warning systems and indicators, Vulnerability and impact analysis, Crisis prevention strategies and controls, Integration of risk management with crisis planning.

Module 3: Crisis Communication and Stakeholder Management: Principles of effective crisis communication, Developing communication plans and protocols, Media relations and press handling, Internal communication during crises, Managing stakeholders and public perception, Use of social media in crisis situations.

Module 4: Crisis Response and Incident Management: Activation of crisis management teams, Incident command system (ICS) and roles, Resource coordination and logistics, Decision-making under pressure, Safety and security during crises, Coordination with emergency services and external agencies.

Module 5: Recovery and Business Continuity: Developing recovery plans and strategies, Business continuity planning (BCP) integration, Damage assessment and impact evaluation, Psychological and community support mechanisms, Monitoring recovery progress, Lessons learned and post-crisis review.

Module 6: Training, Exercises, and Continuous Improvement: Designing and conducting crisis simulations and drills, Evaluating crisis response performance, Updating crisis management plans based on feedback, Training programs for staff and leadership, Documentation and record-keeping, Building resilience through continuous improvement.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
