Duration: Three Months.

The course covers identification of hazardous substances, risk assessment, containment strategies, decontamination procedures, emergency response, and compliance with national and international safety regulations.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 2: Hazardous Materials Identification & Risk Assessment: Types of Hazardous Materials (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Explosive), Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) Interpretation, Identification Techniques for Unknown Substances, Risk Assessment Methodologies, Prioritization of High-Risk Materials, Documentation and Reporting of HazMat Risks,

Module 3: Personal Protective Equipment & Safety Measures: Selection of Appropriate PPE for Different HazMat Scenarios, Donning and Doffing Procedures, Decontamination Techniques, Respiratory Protection and Air Monitoring, Safety Protocols During Handling of Hazardous Materials, Routine Inspection and Maintenance of Safety Equipment,

Module 4: Fire Suppression & Containment Techniques: Fire Suppression Methods for HazMat Incidents (Foam, CO₂, Dry Chemical, Gaseous), Spill Containment and Control Procedures, Isolation and Ventilation Techniques, Firefighting Tactics in Hazardous Environments, Safe Handling and Storage of Flammable and Reactive Materials, Coordination with Emergency Teams,
