Duration: Three Months.
Objective: The objective of the Certificate in Industrial Electrical Installation & Maintenance course is to equip participants with the advanced knowledge and practical skills needed to install, maintain, and repair complex electrical systems within industrial environments such as factories, plants, and manufacturing facilities. The course covers electrical theory, wiring, motor controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial safety standards, electrical schematics, and preventive maintenance.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Fundamentals of Industrial Electricity: Basic electrical theory and principles, Electrical units and measurements, Ohm’s Law and circuit calculations, Types of electrical circuits (series, parallel, combination), Electrical symbols and diagrams, Safety standards and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Module 2: Industrial Wiring and Installation: Types of wiring systems and cables, Raceway and conduit installation, Wiring methods for industrial equipment, Grounding and bonding requirements, Cable pulling techniques, Compliance with electrical codes (NEC, IEC).
Module 3: Motors and Control Systems: Types of industrial motors (AC, DC, servo), Motor wiring and connections, Motor control circuits and starters, Variable frequency drives (VFDs), Motor protection and troubleshooting, Installation of motor controllers and relays.
Module 4: Industrial Automation and PLCs: Introduction to programmable logic controllers (PLCs), PLC programming basics, Input/output devices and sensors, Industrial communication protocols, Troubleshooting PLC systems, Integration of PLCs with motor controls.
Module 5: Electrical Maintenance and Testing: Preventive maintenance procedures, Use of testing and diagnostic tools (multimeter, insulation tester), Testing transformers and circuit breakers, Troubleshooting electrical faults, Lockout/tagout procedures, Documentation and reporting of maintenance activities.
Module 6: Safety, Compliance, and Best Practices: Electrical safety regulations and standards, Hazard recognition and risk assessment, Emergency response and first aid, Safe use of tools and equipment, Environmental considerations and waste disposal, Professional ethics and teamwork in industrial settings.
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
- Duration- 60 minutes.
- Number of Questions- 30.
- Number of Questions from each module: 5.
- Language: English.
- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
