Objective: The Certified 3D Printing Technician (Construction) course is designed to equip professionals with the technical skills and knowledge necessary to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot 3D printing technologies used in construction. The course covers various 3D printing methods (such as concrete printing and additive manufacturing), material selection, printer setup, calibration, post-processing, and safety protocols.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to 3D Printing in Construction: Overview of 3D printing technology, Applications of 3D printing in construction, Types of 3D printing processes (FDM, SLS, DMLS, etc.), Benefits and limitations of 3D printing, Role and responsibilities of a 3D printing technician, Industry trends and case studies.

Module 2: Materials for Construction 3D Printing: Types of printable materials (concrete, polymers, metals, composites), Material properties and suitability, Material preparation and handling, Sustainability considerations, Material storage and safety, Innovations in construction printing materials.

Module 3: 3D Printer Hardware and Software: Components of 3D printers used in construction, Printer setup and calibration, Software for 3D modeling and slicing, File formats and data preparation, Troubleshooting common hardware issues, Maintenance and servicing of 3D printers.

Module 4: Design and Modeling for 3D Printing: Basics of 3D modeling and CAD tools, Designing for additive manufacturing constraints, Model optimization for printability, Support structures and build orientation, Integration with BIM workflows, Design verification and testing.

Module 5: Printing Process and Quality Control: Print preparation and job setup, Layer-by-layer printing techniques, Monitoring and controlling the print process, Quality assurance and defect detection, Post-processing methods, Documentation and reporting.

Module 6: Safety, Compliance, and Professional Practice: Safety protocols and personal protective equipment, Regulatory standards and certifications, Environmental impact and waste management, Ethical considerations in 3D printing, Communication with project teams and clients, Career development and continuous learning.
